See you at Agile 2007!

Wednesday, August 8th, 2007

I haven’t written many posts lately. It’s been a busy summer. So I’ll make up for it with a two-fer today.

Next week I’m attending the Agile 2007 conference in Washington, D.C. Wow! Just a few short years ago, we worked to gather a couple hundred people and now, the conference sells out in the early bird registrations.  I agreed to present several sessions this year (some would say too many), and I’m looking forward to them all.

Monday afternoon: Talking Heads session, “The First Thing to Build: Leveraging Trust on Agile Teams.”

Tuesday morning: Tutorial, “Stimulating Team Success: Agile Managers as Facilitators.”

Wednesday afternoon: Leadership Symposium, “Agile Leadership Clinic.”

Thursday afternoon: Tutorial with Esther Derby, “Agile Retrospectives: Making Good Teams Great!” (now where do you suppose we got that idea?)

I look forward to the conference and to connecting and re-connecting with colleagues.  When I’m not presenting you’ll find me in the CwaC (Conference within a Conference) or wandering the halls looking for a good conversation–about Agile teams, retrospectives, how to influence change in your organization, or what you did for your summer vacation. I’m just not good at learning in big groups of people, like in lecture halls. Say “Hi!” when you find me.
