She facilitates processes that support and sustain change initiatives, attain effective team performance and retain organizational learning. Together she and her clients build workplaces that realize business results while developing and dignifying people. As a specialist in the human side of software development, Diana serves as a advisor, consultant and facilitator to directors, program and project managers, development teams and others. Diana serves on the board of the Agile Alliance and is a certified Scrum Master and a certified Administrator of the Singer Loomis Type Deployment Inventory. She has special expertise in using Appreciative Inquiry approaches, Open Space Technology and other large group processes, as well as in leading teams through Project Chartering and Retrospectives. Her degree is in Organizational Communication from Lewis and Clark College. Along with Sharon Buckmaster and others, Diana co-founded the Women’s Center for Applied Leadership.
A frequent speaker at software industry conferences, Diana also authors articles on Agile management, team development and organizational change. Her 15-year focus on developing and supporting teams and team leaders through large and small changes in organization culture, structure and leadership has served clients through startups, transitions, expansions, downsizings and alliances. Clients are drawn to Diana because of her experience and expertise, and continue to partner with her because of her candor and willingness to explore uncharted territory and innovative solutions.
