She helps clients build on individual and organization strengths to meet current challenges. Sharon excels at working with leaders. All leaders at all levels.
Mentor and Coach
Sharon speaks on topics such as mentoring, coaching executive women, diversity and inclusion. Her strong commitment to gender equity for professional women led to her PhD dissertation research titled Standing Up and Standing Proud: Senior Executive Women Who Advocate for Gender-Equity.
Sharon is the founder of the Women’s Center for Leadership in Portland, OR and continues to serve on the Board as the President Emerita. She’s been an associate of the Center for Gender in Organizations at Simmons College, and has taught in the MBA programs for the University of Oregon and Willamette University.
Avocations
Sharon is a passionate fair trade advocate and world traveller, and delights in discovering hand-made textiles around the world. She expresses her love of opera by serving on the board of Portland Opera Summerfest.
